It all started with a hobby. While I was at home on parental leave with my children, I began selling olive trees – then palm trees – from our home. I had no idea back then that this small beginning would one day grow into such a passion. As the years passed, the world of plants captivated me more and more, and I knew I wanted to do something much bigger.
In early 2025, my father and I dared to dream big. After months of planning, we opened Zöld Élvezet Kertészet in Szigetszentmiklós in May 2025. The location was already familiar to us – we had been selling Christmas trees there every Advent season for years. Back then you could only find us seasonally; today, we welcome our customers all year round.
From our modest beginnings, our selection has grown into something much richer. Alongside Mediterranean plants, we now welcome visitors with flowers, ornamentals, and many other special finds. We've equipped the nursery with shading and misting corridors to keep both our plants and our guests comfortable even in the summer heat.
Even though we've grown a lot, one thing hasn't changed: every day, it's us – the family – who work in the nursery, personally, with no employees. This year my sister joined us too, completing our team. We offer home delivery across the whole country in our own car, and through our webshop we ship plants to those who can't visit in person.
We have no employees – Zöld Élvezet is a true family business. We greet every customer personally and are happy to help them find the plant that suits them best.
A wide selection of Mediterranean plants, flowers, ornamentals and special finds awaits you. We're constantly expanding our range with garden accessories, potting soil, and many other new additions.
We deliver to private customers, resellers and hospitality venues across the entire country. Our webshop also makes it easy to order by post – wherever you are in Hungary.
